Franziska offers a safe and supportive space for her clients. She works with what clients bring to each session and at the same time helps them to find their strength in a solution-focused and structured way. With a background in Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), bodywork and mindfulness, she takes a holistic and integrative view of every individual client, and brings creativity into the therapeutic process. CBT explores the link between thoughts, emotions and behaviours, which helps clients to develop more adaptive coping strategies. Embodiment and mindfulness encourage clients to focus on the present moment and to redirect their energy through the body. Franziska’s warm and embracing nature, and her holistic and integrative approach, enables her clients to find healthier and more fulfilling ways to be with themselves and others.
Franziska’s early career was in Media and Organisational Psychology, with a specialism in workplace issues, such as stress. She then followed her passion and moved into full-time yoga teaching and bodywork. She currently combines her work as a facilitator of yoga teacher trainings/workshops with her therapeutic practice. Franziska has a special interest in integrating the wisdom of the body and mind, and firmly believes that by accessing both, we can lead a more peaceful life.
Franziska is a therapist, who holds a BSc in Psychology, MSc in Occupational Psychology and PgDip in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is a member of the BACP.
